- 2 cans of good quality diced tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 6 tbsp of high quality olive oil
- 3 tbsp of butter
- pinch of red chili flakes
- salt
- basil
Method:
Use a large steel pan, heat set very low. warm the olive oil and butter then add the garlic and the pepper flakes. Then add the tomatoes. Stir, add lid. cook for an hour. Add basil, and cook for another 20 mins.
