Recipe Tags: Classic Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 finely chopped shallots
- a generous glass of claret
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- lots of finely chopped parsley
- salt
- pepper
Method:
Gently cook the shallots in the claret until half the claret has evaporated, then add the butter, once melted in add salt and pepper and the parsley
This is great with steaks.
