Circa 1954
Ingredients:
- 1/4 of an onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp of flour
- celery salt
- 2 tbsp of curry powder
- 1 tbsp of bitters
- 1 cup of scalded milk
Method:
Cook onion in the butter for 5 mins, remove. Add flour, salt, pepper, curry and bitters. Then add the milk. Stir until thickened.
